Viewpoint's Portal, Viewpoint V6 Software Connects, facilitates the communication of mission critical information to everyone in the construction community through an easy-to-use, automatically updating web site. Connects enables companies to easily create and maintain a web site where permission can be granted for those that do not have direct access to Viewpoint V6 Software and can receive up-to-date information in a secure, controlled environment.

The initial version of the Connects is designed for the Viewpoint V6 Software Project Management and Human Resources modules:

Project Management
Using Connects, project managers can develop project-specific web sites to remotely manage things such as Change Orders, RFIs, Subcontract Pay Requests, Documents and more with architects, engineers, subs and owners who normally do not have access to the Viewpoint software.

Human Resources
HR professionals are continually bombarded with questions by employees about their paychecks, PTO, 401k, etc. The Portal tool provides controlled access to selected personnel information offering all employees the ability to get what they need on their own.
