Job ManagementViewpoint Job Cost is designed specifically for the needs of heavy/highway contractors. Job Cost is fully integrated with Viewpoint accounting for accurate reporting of quantities and cost information. Unit cost reporting is available on a timely basis at the Pay Item, Phase within Pay Item and Cost Type (labor, materials, subs, etc.) levels.Job Cost is the “heart” of the Viewpoint software system. Up-to-date cost information on projects is available on a daily, weekly, or “as needed” basis. Integration The Job Cost module is fully integrated with timesheet entry (labor, equipment and units), plant/material sales, owner pay estimate entry and committed costs. Unit Cost The Job Cost module is geared to contractors who require timely unit cost information. “Paid” units and “field-reported” units are tracked in detail and available for reporting purposes. User-Defined Cost Types Up to 255 user-defined cost types (labor, material, equipment, subs, etc.) may be used to track detail cost. Each cost type reports units, unit of measure, hours, dollars, unit cost, etc. Job Cost Allocations User-defined allocation formulas allow for the spread of indirect cost back to jobs based on a variety of methods. |
