The Viewpoint V6 Software Operations suite provides powerful management and reporting systems to help operations personnel perform more effectively. Tightly integrated with the Viewpoint V6 Software accounting suite, the operations modules eliminate redundant data entry and improve the flow of information between departments and project team members. Inventory and Parts Management

Tracking inventory, whether for sale to customers or for use on your own equipment or jobs, is easily accomplished through Viewpoint’s Inventory module. Multiple locations, costing methods and pricing schemes are supported.

Integration
Fully integrated with Viewpoint Purchase Order, Material Sales, Job Cost, Accounts Payable, Equipment Management, and General Ledger.

Parts Handling
Equipment-related parts may be tracked by manufacturer part number as well as a “cross-reference” number in inventory.

Inventory Valuation Methods
Supports average cost, FIFO, LIFO, or standard cost inventory valuation methods.

Mix Designs
Supports “bill of materials” setup for mix designs or assembly-based products.

Automatic Posting
Materials from inventory used on jobs are recorded with automatic Job Cost and General Ledger entries.

Purchase Orders

The Viewpoint Purchase Order module is a powerful tool to control committed costs. The module can be used in a single department, or as a company-wide system to track and monitor commitments, receipts and expenses.

Fully integrated with Viewpoint Project Management, Job Cost, Accounts Payable, Equipment Management, Inventory and General Ledger modules.

Committed Costs
Updates Job Cost system with original and remaining committed cost, receipts and invoiced quantities/dollars.

Payment Control
Payment control is improved through matching of invoices to the purchase order and/or receiver.

Notes
Extensive notes may be added at the purchase order header or line item levels.

Subcontract Management

Subcontract Ledger is a specialized module for contractors to manage business relationships with subcontractors and their suppliers.

Subcontract Detail Tracking
Handles unit cost and lump sum subcontracts with unlimited line items. Bond or insurance deductions are dealt with using the special “item type” feature.

Flexible Retainage Handling
Retainage terms are defined with the initial subcontract. Retainage adjustment/release is also available.

Pay Estimate Link
Project Worksheet format with linkage to Job Billing (owner pay estimate) facilitates “pay when paid”, and streamlines payment processing.

Compliance Tracking
Comprehensive Compliance Tracking system warns or prevents payments to subs with outstanding/unresolved issues.

Project Management Integration
Integration with optional Project Management module provides complete document, contract, issue and change management system.

Material ticket information, coming from leading scale-ticketing systems, is updated and available in the Job Cost module on a daily basis.

Quote Tracking (materials & haul)
Quoted prices for materials and haul are stored in the Viewpoint Material Sales module. Tickets are uploaded, processed and priced providing instant feedback in the Job Cost module.

Scale Ticket Interface
Viewpoint offers a flexible ticket import system. Ticket output, coming from leading scale ticketing systems, may be mapped to corresponding fields in Viewpoint, uploaded, approved, and processed, without any manual entry.

Immediate Job Cost
Daily cost of materials is available in the Job Cost reporting systems.
